    Default 83/86 Frankenstang skips when clutch fully depressed

    No wires pinched near clutch pedal under dash
    Any thoughts?

    Plug in and condition returns of running rough with mega skip

    Is it carb'ed or EFI?

    Do you have the ground strap between the engine and the firewall?

    Ground - don't think so.

    Just block to Neg on battery

    If the ground strap between the engine and body/firewall is not there, the electrons will look for other paths to ground.
    If this were the case, your clutch cable could be a substitute ground, and movement might disrupt things, electrically. Although I'd think that tightening the cable would improve things.

    But if it doesn't exhibit the problem when the clutch switch is unplugged, then it points toward the wiring or maybe the computer.
    Has the car been converted to 5-speed, or anything like that?
