    Default My rough 79 Boxtop

Finally got ole ugly going, stock block 306, homemade kit with On3 70mm, glide, 3.08 gear, 255/60/15 mickey radials, has the stock gas tank in it but I fill it with water for ballast plus makes it look a little more stock. Water injection tank was built by a good friend of mine. Runs decent, took it to the track few weeks ago to shake it out a little. 13psi and 17 degree timing ran 10.65 at 126.9mph leaving on 2psi of boost so it wouldn't spin. Going to take it back before the track closes to lean on it, see if it has a 9 second pass in it.

I like cars that you can't judge by their looks! Cool! Good luck on getting 9's (2dr sedans being so light, with your set up it should be no problem)!
