I'm checking in with an 82 RS 5.0L 4spd work in progress. The old girl hasn't seen the road in 8 years. Last year I did manage to replace all the suspension with steeda, fms, and koni parts. The motor rebuild is up next.

WOW! It's like capri heaven in this thread, loving it!

Checking in with an 83 capri rs 5.0 5speed, black on black sport interior. Only options I can see are dealer a/c and rear defrost. Car is currently
in running/driving condition. It has been modified with the following......

Nose changed to 84 air dam[car was in an accident at some point] paint is original from the firewall back.
8.8 with 4:11's and bbk upper and lowers, motorsport 1.5" lowering springs, and KYB shocks/struts, bushings replaced as well
    17" wheels of unknown origin
    FMS aluminum driveshaft
FMS shortys into a bassani x pipe with a flowmaster catback, believe they are super 44 mufflers
Stock shortblock with a comp cam of unknown spec
FMS SVO aluminum heads and FMS polished valve covers'
Victor Jr intake with barry grant street demon 625cfm carb, and spacer
MSD 6al ignition with blaster coil and MSD dizzy
    Pro 5.0 shifter into a WC T-5z
    BBK subframes

Probably some other stuff I'm forgetting, and certainly more to come. Definitely brakes! This is how I bought the car last week.

VIN is probably should not post that, but if anyone wants it for a registry I will gladly give it out.

    Buck Tag reads CAPRI
    612666 61D F
    1CC DF ST
    06 HB
    CRS MBW 04
    S -A NLLR 0338

Have pic of door tag, but it didn't come out very well. Will write it down and post later.

Door tag reads a February 83 build with no a/c and rear defrost, which jives with the car. Not sure how to decode the rest. Going to try the buck/vin decoder on here shortly.

Nice setup, but how did you get a 10 pt cage in that small of a dog? I could only get a 6 point in my wife's Pomeranian.
