Default My 81 cobra left the garage for the first time since 2007

Unfortunately not under its own power I wanted to reorganize the garage. Still nice to see it in natural light. I have a tow bar for it so it makes it easier to move it and hopefully work on it.

I would've pulled the black one up closer so the license plate would be obscured, in case the cops drove down the street...

That black Cobra is sexy. Why doesn't it come out to play anymore? Obviously something power train related from the "not under it's own power" comment, but I mean specifically, what does it need?

You have 2 Cobra's! That hardly seems fair when so many of us don't even have 1 Cobra. All kidding aside...give me one of your Cobra's.
    Cheers!

the 81 has never run: I bought it out of a field for the body and trick flow heads. It will need a full restoration as the previous owner really did a hack job on the wiring and mice lived in it for a few years. I think it last ran in 2002 and I bought it in 2007. The body is in great shape with only a bit of rust on the rear drivers side fender. I plan on buying a donor car to get the 81 running: maybe a 93 gt or even look at a 94 gt.

Nice car! You need to drive that beauty more often. Shame for it to sit in a garage.

Nice! Didn't know/remember you had that.

If it turns out any bit as nice as your 80, its going to be sweet!

still not sure what the drive train plans are yet but the exterior plan is something like this:
