I remember this car. Either your father or the previous owner's father purchased it brand new.

IIRC, a member on here talked about this very car (or one very similar) within the past 2-3 years. As the story went, the car was purchased by his father brand new, then in the mid-1990s, the car was given to him, and he went to work modding it, but kept the original color combination. It stands out in my mind since I too own an '83, and I remember wondering if his father was angry that his son changed his former car so much. Regardless, your car looks very clean!

That front bumper and those extensions did not come out until midway into 1984 production (12/83 or so) for GTs. No 83 came with fog lights from the factory. Early 84 GTs did not have that front bumper cover either.

You are correct sir, I have forgotten about that. It was done by someone in the past but it fits the car very nicely !
