radio code

anyone can tell me what's the factory radio on my 80? the door tag say ''0'' code, I seach on the net and im not able to find anything and on my 1964 to 1993 mustang vin decoder book they dont have 0 code???

Please post a pic of the door tag. I don't have all of the possible radio codes in front of me at the moment but I don't recall a code "0" for any year. I may be off though. I can tell you that there is a sunroof code "0", for the 1980 model year only. The sunroof code is right next to the radio code, and there is a possibility you're looking at the former and not the latter.

Thanks for posting the pic. The R (radio) code is actually blank. All codes to the right of the BODY code were printed slightly to the left of where they should have been. The "0" code that you see should be under the S (sunroof) column.

A/C - [blank] = no air conditioner
R - [blank] = no radio
S - 0 = no sunroof
Ax - 8 = 2.73:1 axle ratio, non-locking differential
Tr - W = C4 automatic trans
CC = front springs
FF = rear springs

No radio was installed by the Dearborn assembly plant (blank code that FoxChassis identified for you), so your AM radio is most likely a dealer-installed item.
