    Hey guys. Just joined. Working with an 85 gt. Planning a 347 stroker power plant and flat black paint. Always open to suggestions and advice!

    I hate to beat a dead horse, but I would like to see some pics also. For sure before you cover up the shiny paint with flat black.

    There's nothing shiny about it at this point. It was a neglected car. Now I'm trying to put together what the previous owner did wrong.

    I've got a bit of a predicament on my hands right now. The guy I bought the car from claimed it had a holley 750 double pumper put on it but it looks to me like the stock 4160 but there is no electric or manual choke on it. The car runs really rich at this point. I've tried leaning it out but it just nearly kills it. I'm not very familiar with the holleys. More of an edelbrock guy myself but if I can save this carb I'd like to.
