SWEET! Also noticed the dash pad appears to be in excellent condition, what a score it looks to be.

Excellent looking purchase. I love the color combo amd it's originality. I would love to find something like that to daily drive. What are your plans for it? If it was me I would remove those fender emblems, put on a set of wagon wheels or 10 holes and call it a day.
    Cheers!

I was just taking to my wife and am still undecided if I want to tag as regular or classic . But I did get a ok from her to make it a first car for my oldest daughter. I guess we will see.
Does anybody know what these two stickers are for.

My best guess is it was a company car at one time for whatever company corresponds to the sticker on the door. EDIT: Putting in the address just pulls up a vacant building for lease...some sort of warehouse.

    Nice acquisition, congrats.

Working from memory of 35 years ago: If you are asking about the "Important Safety Precaution" sticker, it had to do with a problem Ford automatic transmissions of a certain time period (late 70's to early 80's) had, where they had a tendency to slip out of Park into Reverse while idling if the selector had not been firmly placed into Park. I don't know if the problem turned into a class action lawsuit or some sort of government inquiry or action, but the settlement was to mail out this sticker to be installed on the car. Every so often you will see one turn up on a well-preserved Ford of this era. I had one, but (thankfully) I never installed it, and it has since been lost.

Thanks guys for all your help.
This is defiantly different then my 82 that is a mismatch of parts.
By the way would the aluminum keys be original to the car?

Aluminum keys are original. I still have the aluminum keys to the 79 hatch my dad gave me, wish I still had the car.

Roush235 is completely right about the dash sticker. Most didn't get installed. I bought an 80 parts car that had one.
