I think it's time we start thinking about the fall cruise now that it's almost September! For those not familiar with this we usually meet up on the second Sunday in October somewhere in my neck of the woods (eastern NH lakes region) for breakfast then head out on back roads up through the white mountains for a relaxed cruise. Last year was a little interesting with a few detours and some off-roading so I was thinking of perhaps doing the route we did the year before. Meet up at my place, have some breakfast, and head out rt153 up to Conway, hit the kanc, and maybe either go through Lincoln to 93 or do the bear notch road again into Bartlett then back down into Conway.
I no longer have family (besides my wife and daughter of course) living in my house so I'm open to hosting breakfast like I have in the past. And there are a few diners not far from here also. This is a family event so significant others and kids are more than welcome. I always bring my wife and daughter on this one. I also spoke to a few people at Chet-B's Car-B-Q this year about the cruise so we may have some non 4-eye's this year too. Perhaps even a real 65-66 Shelby. And if a friend of mine gets his act together a 66 Shelby clone. Last year we even permitted a hyundai rental when futuraguy blew up his transmission on the way here.
