Please post an asking price of each vehicle you have for sale. Thanks.

    4. Posting a CAR FOR SALE (whole or roller) – The following is required:

    • Location of vehicle in ad
    • FS/For Sale in ad title (you can choose the FS: Prefix in the drop-down menu next to the thread title box).
    • ASKING PRICE OF VEHICLE. Sellers playing games has gotten out of hand. Put an asking price. Haggling is fine, guessing games are not.
    • There is no minimum post requirement to sell a car. We want these cars to have every opportunity to find a good home. You are encouraged to be as descriptive as possible in the body of the ad and to use the album upload features as outlined here: to post pics.
    • This forum is NOT for parting out cars. Threatening to part out cars or mentioning the option to part out a car is not acceptable and all references to parting out in this forum will be removed immediately and without warning.
    • When selling a car, please put Model Year, Trim Level (GT/RS/Ghia/etc.), body style, interior and exterior colors, transmission type, etc. in the main body of your ad. The more details, the better.
    • Pictures, and GOOD pictures at that, are STRONGLY encouraged.

Matt is right. Shipping from West Coast, $800-$1500. Rust-belt metal repair by a good body man, prohibitive.

Thanks for your input, onetrackrider! Truthfully, I really don't get it. I've seen some cars sell for $500-$1000 and they are a piece of swiss cheese!! It would cost way more to fix the rust than the cost of my car and the shipping combined, let alone the time involved if you could do the rust repairs yourself!! And trying to get all of the rust out of a unibody once it has set in is nearly impossible!!

Swiss cheese cars selling for 500-1000 I think your being conservative..lol...I use to live in Indiana & have seen what rust can do to a car
& after living in Colorado for 30+ years I have learned to appreciate a fine rust free car..
I even posted up some pic's of the under side of my 86 SSP & folks were shocked at how clean it was even for being a highway service car...

FYI - An interested party was quoted $1200 to ship to Maryland, to give you an idea on shipping costs.

For cars that you like and are a distance, do a road trip. I did one and it was great. Bought a white z7 similar to this.
