    Default 86 thunderbird 5.0 5speed very nice77k miles reduced price

    1986 thunderbird 77k original miles, very nice southern car, 5.0, TFS heads and roller rockers, ford racing E cam, explorer intake,70mm throttle body,shorty headers, 2 1/2 off road pipe and cat back, under drive pulleys, t-5 5 speed , 3.73 8.8 rear, mustang gt front and rear sway bars,cobra r replica 17x8 wheels with nitto 275 40 17 drag radials on rear, 245-45 front tires. this car runs and drives good, never seen Ohio winter car is from Georgia. very nice grey interior. $5000OBO car is in columbus ohio e-mail 2big2go@msn.com for details and more pics

    Man, thats nice!!! I've always liked the 83-84 dashes better, but I could learn to enjoy this one!!! LOL

    that a worked up SO or is that an HO with no badge on the intake?

    it is the original 76000 mile short block with ford racing E cam tfs heads explorer intake 70mm throttle body, HO firing order roller lifters, computer etc.
    motor has 170+ psi cranking compression on all cylinders.

    I love this car, but I thought vent windows went away after 83 for the Tbirds?
    1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.

    not sure about the vent windows but the original ford paint on this tells me they were available in 86....

    short time price reduction.... buy it for $5500

    I had a 85 t bird Élan it was one of throes cars you wished you never sold
    Anyhow all of the trim was chrome from factory and yes it had vent windows as well

    Btw nice car rare to see them as a manual trans or at least I haven't seen one other than my turbo coupe which was another car I should not of sold
    88 and was gold with black and grey leather I haven't seen another one like it
    Looks like a Fun car that should sell quick good luck to you

    i did a manual conversion with parts from a mustang. it is fun but i have another project that is more important to me.

    thanks, i try to do things in a factory manor. the exhaust on this is 2 1/2 dual and the tailpipes also are and they turn down just before the rear bumper. you can't even see them from the side. i don't like the way they look when they are below the quarter (5.0 lx style) they hang down too low on the tbirds.

    I pretty much have the complete dash for this car and console if someone buys it and needs spare stuff...cheap just trying to get rid of some stuff I don't need. I think my stuff is for an auto though. Sorry for the side note. nice car with the manual tranny. I've not seen too many of those.

    Very tidy. Where in GA was it from? I'm not familiar with tbirds but that is my favorite body style. All gauges work? What's supposed to be in the hole above the radio?

    not sure exactly where. i meet the previous owner at the georgia tenn. border when i bought the car. all gauges work, the hole above is where they put the optional equalizer from the factory.
