*CHALLENGE*Sept 20 Springfield MO ANPAC CAR SHOW FOR KIDS- FEATURE CAR IS MUSTANG

Reaching out to all FEPers and Mustang fans. Save the date of Sept 20, 2014. This is a great show that has really good attendance- and supports a good cause. Each year they choose a different make/model to "feature" at the show, though the show welcomes all makes/models/years. The 2014 featured car is the Mustang. Featured car owners are offered a judging category exclusively for their make/model, as well as VIP parking at the show. The first 25 featured car owners to register also receive a special gift bag upon arrival at the event. We would love to have a strong showing of FEP Mustangs (and other Fox Body cars too!) just to let everybody know that the 79-93 cars are appreciated too. Can you imagine having more 79-93 cars that early Mustangs?? So I challenge everyone to shine it up and bring it down. If we can get a good group together I would work to put together a cruise and maybe organize a group dinner. Lets hear from you and please try to keep this up on the front page so everyone can see it.

Good! I love black 83 GT's. My first Fox was a black 83 GT T top that I just loved. Still have a weakness for them. I might bring both, the red t top and the red solid roof car. If things were to really go well I would love to display the 83 GT convt but carb issues have it sitting right now.

I am still thinking about hitting Mo-kan Friday night on the way. I'm just waiting on commitment from a couple other buddies. I'll be staying in Springfield Friday night, at the Best Western, through the show link. So hopefully will be at the show bright and early. 200 miles and a trip to the strip, I might need to clean it up a little.

I may try and make it. None of my 4 eyes are running so it would either be the '89 or the '77 mach. Not sure yet since I was getting ready to tear both apart.

I think the 77 Mach would be awesome to show. There are 3 other Mustang IIs that typically attend shows around here, a lime green cobra, a modified black cherry cobra and a low mileage Ghia coupe so you would have some company. Of course, the 89 would looks sweet also and we do seem to prefer Foxbody cars

I have never seen those cars. Seems every show I go to there are aero foxes but no IIs. I talked to one of the larger mustang clubs down there once but when the guy said something to the effect of "they didn't make a mustang II mach 1" I kinda walked off because he irritated me with how he said it.

The mach I have to trailer in (not licensed). Fox has an oil leak but she drives. decisions decisions.

Oil's changed, and stuff checked, ready as I'll ever be. I'm going to try to show up by 9, Saturday morning, unless earlier will be better. Looks like they've got a chance of rain in now..

Roll call...anyone attending this show please let us know. We are hoping to get all FEP cars together. Generally parking is "open" so all makes & types are mixed together. However since the Mustang is the feature car this year we get special parking. We will get there early to reserve spots- 4eyedfox I'll have a spot for your 83.

Great day here in Springfield and FEP was well represented in the winners circle. Congratulations to the 74-93 Mustang Stock class winners: Adam (4eyedfoxdriver) 3rd place, I took second and 417davidk took first with his 79 Pace Car. Scott86Capri won 1st in the 74-93 Modified class. We got some great pics of 3 of the cars together and we will be posting them up soon!
