    So, anyone know the history on this car? The link to the Facebook page doesn't lead to what one might assume when he says the history can be found there.

    He had it at Nashville MCA show with McLaren on the side of it. Then he said it was and enduro. I don't think he has proof on the enduro and I know it is not a McLaren. Last I heard it was a DSO kit (you could buy the body kit from Ford in the early 80,s) It is a nice looking car and he put a lot of money in the motor.

    Pardon my senility, but I recall every now and again hearing of a red one that wasn't necessarily what it was purported to be. Is this the same vehicle, then?

    There are several red ones out there but this the most popular one, so most likely yes. I have pics of several but cant post them now. One is even a 6 cy. I have a pic of a 86 capri with the body kit on it. Here is one from this site.

    The side molding does not line up very well either.
