Default Need pics of Gun Metal Gray wheels please!

I've searched the forum tirelessly (no pun intended) for pics of any 85-86 with Gun Metal gray wheels. I'm narrowing my choices down to the 10th anny wheels or possibly the Cobra R's, or also the Saleen SC replica wheels!

I think the gun metal will accent the factory trim color on my '85, which needs to be resprayed.

Post 'em if you got 'em.

    Thanks!

I'm a huge fan of that project! I've scrolled through that thread countless times. Seeing it again makes we lean in this direction with the 10th anny wheels. Thanks!

Wow, that's the combo I was looking for exactly...right color and same wheels I'm thinking about. Which lowering springs did you use ( or how low) and what is your tire set up. This combo looks perfect.

Thanks to everyone for the examples so far.

    Thanks! ...but bummer!

Does anyone know who's this is, and what the specs are? ...or take any wild guesses?

It's hard to tell from the angle of the picture, but my guess is that the wheels are 17X9 front and rear. You could also do the 17X8 up front and the 17X9 in the rear.

Most of the 4 lug Fox wheels are designed for the 87-93 cars so you either have to run a spacer up front for strut clearance or convert to 87-93 V8 brakes and spindles.

    Good Luck!

Would I be crazy for liking these? I know the hub diameter is slightly larger but I could put a hub ring in place to make these work.

You aren't crazy for liking them. I have been looking at the ESM wheels for awhile now. I have plans to run some on one or two of my Foxes when the time comes. I would recommend you give ESM a call directly. They can custom drill the bolt patterns and the hub diameter for you to fit your Fox without the need for hubcentric spacers.

    Good Luck!

Ok, thanks! Just to confirm I've done my research correctly, do these dimensions look accurate for the stock '85 GT?

    - 15" 4"x108mm bolt pattern
    - 1/2"x20mm stud sizing
    - 63.4 center bore
    - 15-25mm (M) back spacing

I'd actually prefer to go up to 17", which they offer as well.

I don't want to have to start swapping out spindles and removing quad shocks if possible. It seems like in order to avoid making those type of modifications I would have to step down to a 17x8 front wheel and a 17x9 rear wheel. Is that correct?

After tons of indecision and debate I finally pulled the trigger tonight on the 10th Anniversary wheels and tire package from LMR. I can't wait to get them!

Those are beautiful, you made an excellent choice. Just a heads up, you may have to get them properly balanced from your local tire shop. I bought a set of wheels and tires from LRS and they made my car shake once it hit 60 mph. All I had to do was take them to my local tire shop and have them balanced so it wasn't a huge deal, but they were supposed to be good to go right from LRS. Otherwise I had a good experience.
    Cheers!

Thanks! Seeing multiple photos of Old Man River's car and Danco86's car really helped me decide...along with all the advice here.
