I just wish that they'd gotten the speaker holes right...

    Looks good though!

Did you just cut a hole in the foam for the speaker area underneath and bond the dash cover over top to compensate for holes on the original pad that don't align up?

Looks very nice! I'm looking to get one for my 85. Speaker holes don't bother me, I only use 2 6x9's in the back.

What a transformation! I do agree that the correct speaker holes would have been nice, but looks great either way!

Here is the link to the website. I just laid it over the dash not glued down, needs new speakers , call it a test fit and I am very pleased with it. The dash over lay is helping me to get started on the car again. I have the crayon red interior and I ordered the maroon and it`s almost a match without painting it,you could get away without painting easy. I am here to tell you it`s the little things that help so much little this.

1986 GT . I would guess ,if you wanted to might be able to drill out the speakers holes better, not going to try it ,but you just might could do that. Me I don`t care looks miles better then before.

I was mainly asking because you called the interior "crayon" red and I wasn't sure what color you meant. For 84-86, Canyon Red is used, which is a bit darker and slightly browner than the earlier models, which is more of a primary red (some call it porno red). My interior has the same color dash as yours. I wasn't all that fond of it when I first got it, but it's grown on me. I found an original dash pad that I'm going to dye Canyon Red to replace my cracked original.
