Cool 4door project is starting to look pretty mean....

the combo list on this car started pretty mild.

i just got a promotion at work and Lord willing, it will go something like this .
    351W .40over F4TE roller shortblock.
750holley HP with holley mech pump.
Ported weiand stealth with the thinnest N20 plate I can find.
Pro-comp (i know) heads. 190cc ported and massaged with all new valvetrain and checked out by a machine shop.
Custom Cam likely by Ed Curtis of FTI.
    1.6 stud mounted roller rockers
Pro-comp distributer with MSD 6al and FRPP wires
MAC 1 3/4 longtubes into a 3inch Xpipe and dynomax race mufflers.
March underdrive crank and alternator pulley, deleted AC and Power steering
TCI streetfighter C4 and custom BTE convertor lokar linake, going to try HARD to use factor column shifter setup with the forward VB.
    tubular K front.
rear LCA's and UCA's with custom subframe connectors.
    8.8 rearend with 3:73's
weld draglites and im gunna try and get it done with little 255/60/15 mickey drag radials. these should fit a lot better than 275's
car will hopefully be around 3100lb's with my fat butt in it and a 1/4tank of 93octane

Goal is 400ish rwhp and low 7's in the 1/8th mile. I plan to use a small 100-150shot of nitrous to get my way into the 6's one way or the other later in the season.
car should be getting down around Christmas/new years.

wish me luck. 2015 should be a fun racing season. right now its time to stock up on PB&J and raman noodles.

Locked in a deal on a f4te 351w motor today. Its .40 over and never been ran. Its one of those late model restoration supply shortblocks they sell but instead of $1299.99 I'm only paying $500. I'm pretty happy with the deal and hope its a good motor for my Mont.

    As promised here's a pic

I've also decided that a trickflow stage2 cam will likely be used instead of spending close to 175 more for a custom set up from ed Curtis. I think it will run just fine and its the biggest can I can run with these pistons

I've also pretty much killed the procomp heads idea. I found some ported and worked over windsor sr's with rockers for so cheap I'll likely save about $500.... They are iron but I can't pass up that deal.
