Spare tire for PBR brakes

what diameter do I need to clear PBR front brakes? do all mustangs from 94-04 gt/V6 have the same size spare?

What size rotor do you have? The 12" V6/GT brakes or the 13" Cobra brakes?

The 12" rotor requires a 16" wheel generally to clear the brakes.

The 13" rotor requires a 17" wheel generally to clear the brakes.

There are some deep barrel wheels that will clear the brakes while being a smaller diameter wheel and tire, but they are more difficult to come by.

If you have the 12" brakes then the standard spare from a SN95 will work, otherwise with the 13" Cobra brakes you will need the Cobra 17" spare to clear the brakes.

Then you can use a 16" wheel of any kind or get an OEM 16" spare from a 94-04 Mustang or one from a 84-86 SVO. Any of those should clear your brake calipers just fine.
