This car is about 98% finished. As usual, Dan has done a great job. We had a few issues that had be dealt with during the build, but Dan was a real trooper and had a good answer for each one.

He'll get some pics posted very soon.

No on the Brown car. I've had a couple of offers, but both were too low, and not a good fit. I'd really like that one to go to a true Fox enthusiast. I am adding some storage capability in the next few months, so there's a decent chance I could keep that car. I would still like it to find a home with someone who appreciates the Predator cars.

Here is a one of a kind Predator with a new unique drivetrain. There are some interesting stories about this car, the Predator had been racing on tracks around the county since it was fairly new. It did run with nitrous with a Doug Nash 5 speed transmission, and I'm pretty sure that they had replaced a few engines in it. Also when this Predator was fairly new it was street racing and rear ended a cop car, it went to a body shop and they installed the hood scoop backwards! Mark the owner and I talked about what he would like done with the restoration. Since the original drivetrain was long gone, and the car had been racing since new. Mark bought this car because he like the color combo, and wanted to have a lot of horsepower in it. The car originally came with the Cobra Package. There is not much different between non cobra package and cobra package, the cobra package came with "Cobra" valve covers and "Cobra" emblems lower snake emblems on the fenders. Since it was Cobra Package I thought it would be perfect to have a true cobra package I suggested for him to have the Terminator (03-04 Cobra) drivetrain in the car and keep everything else original interior and exterior except the wheels because of the 5 lugs. We agreed to do the Terminator swap and that I would take my time because I have other cars to work on too. The Terminator swap was a pretty hard job because I was keeping the 85 dashboard, and the 85 cluster too. Most people just swap to the newer dash or reuse the old dash with aftermarket gauges around the cluster. After all of the hard work was done, it turned out awesome.

The Terminator engine came with few bolt on, the cold air kit, Stiegemeier ported stock blower and ported stock throttle body, smaller pulley on the blower, bigger heat exchanger, off road x-pipe, and maganflow catback system. I had to put SCT chip in the computer to unlock the PATS (anti thief system) and have them tune the SCT for some more horsepower. It came out at 500.9 HP at the wheels, the tuner said that it is the highest HP he had seen with the stock blower and right on the max limit for stock fuel injectors, MAF and fuel pump. If we want to go for more then we would have to get bigger injectors, pump, and etc... I'm pretty impressed with how much power it made with just a few mods.

I took some pictures for you guys to enjoy and look at, I decided to have my Saleen parked next to Mark's Predator because both cars have the some color combo, I think it is cool. Also I had to take a picture of my black GT302H together too because GT302H had been around 10 Predators since I owned it.

Is there an update on this car?

I have to admit that most way through this thread I found myself kind of sad that the car did not go back to the stock configuration....

That was until Dans post, and the pictures showing what an amazing job he has done with this car!

Very cool no matter how you slice it!
