Default Underdrive Pulley and Bracket Kit

    1985 302 M/T

While removing the alt and smog pump popped off an ear on the bracket that holds the smog pump on. Question I have, is there an alternative aftermarket bracket out there to the original alt/smog bracket. Plan on installing a smog delete bracket as well.
    Thanks,
    Rob

...and is there any way to eliminate the tensioner as well in the process?

I am not familiar with the brand you linked to, I have seen that style before and a few members here have used them IIRC.

The kits use threaded adjuster to adjust the tension of the belt, so that would rid you of the OEM tensioner if that is what you want. Should work fine for your intended purpose. I believe Summit Racing and others sell the same kit or similar kits too.

    Good Luck!

Fantastic, thanks guys. That will really clean-up the engine bay and give me a few more horses.
