    Just an FYI, ther is an nos caramel center console on eBay. It's priced pretty high (in the $200's) but its been listed for a long time. You might be able to make the seller a reasonable offer and get it cheaper? That is, if you want a console for your car.

    I have a gray console that Ill paint caramel if I install one but I really like the console delete set up

    I am happy that you are keeping the car chamois and caramel. All is well with the world again.

    If you do need a caramel center cap for the steering wheel, you can have mine.

    hey guys! thanks for the interest on my project but I m really busy by this time ,I cant wait to work on my project but I finished up the exterior of my new garage just before the f****** snow comin! so the interior of the coupe is almost remove the redone the upholstery that I buy from Darran (in pretty good shape ) and I had start to prep the plastic trim to repaint it the original caramel color , I have all my parts for 5 lug convertion too with sn95 spindle and 8.8 rear end already 5 lug axle swap, so here is a pic of my all summer labour Name:  photo.jpg

    hi guys!

    the coupe have a bad leakage steering pump so I decide to buy a rebuilt kit and do it myself. I found some time last week end and start the job.

    here is the pump before:

    the leakage issue is from the shaft seal and the shaft inself. look at the groove on the shaft where the seal sit:

    Did you paint the aluminum part? If so, what did you use? Looks natural and clean.
    1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.
