    Default The Four-Eye Game - 2014 Version

This game was originally started by "Mustang Kid" aka Sam, and I'm starting this new thread for the 2014 season. I'm also taking the liberty of changing the name. I would like to see all Four-Eyes playing the game. I've made an attempt to replace "Mustang" with "Four-Eye" and if I missed one somewhere, please let me know. I think all Four-Eyes should have a chance to play the game, don't you?

"We start by picking a place that you have to get a picture of your Four-Eye in front of. Let's say a bowling alley, for example... The first person to get a picture of their Four-Eye in front of a weird bowling alley sign or a bowling alley, gets to pick the next place (challenge). It has to be something reasonable, and if nobody gets the picture within a week, the person who picked it has to pick something else instead."

    DEFINITION OF ELIGIBLE VEHICLES:
To prevent further confusion AND to entice more players, I'm "amending" the rules regarding eligible vehicles. If your vehicle meets the tenets of this website, I have no objections to them being included in this game. My intention for this game is to include every member's vehicle that is eligible for membership on this site.

    RULES:
    1. If a picture is being disputed whether it should qualify or not, it needs three (3) votes (by any forum members participating) to be accepted.

    2. All pictures have to be taken while out of the car, no driving by. You must have a sign that has your username on it too.

    3. No action shots, illegal activities or items, duplicate challenges, or pics from in your car. You really have to go, stop, get out, take the picture, post it.

    4. If challenge has not been completed within one (1) week, the person who picked it has to pick a new challenge.

    5. Make sure you put the current challenge above or below the picture so I can stay up-to-date for those just joining the game.

5A. If you're just joining the Game, PLEASE READ THE RULES!

    6. Be funny and creative. Pics of Four-Eyes in front of interesting things or stuff you don't see everyday are always welcome.

    7. Pictures have to be taken AFTER the challenge and CANNOT be old photos. No Photoshopping!

    8. No Four Eyes will be harmed in the taking of your picture!

The intention of this thread is to have fun and get people out enjoying their cars while most of the country has decent weather. So let's keep it fun and safe!"

    Have Fun!!

This was the last challenge posted and with the weather warming up again, I say let's use this one. This challenge is open to everyone, including the OP, onetrackrider. Get a picture of your car with a boat in the background; in the water is better (the boat, not your car); and I'd even consider an RC boat in the water, IF no one can find a real boat first.

    Ready...Set...GO!

Now it's up to Ray Dog to give us our next quest....and I hope Moose is ok with me calling this challenge completed.

Ray Dog, you got the "win," so you determine the next challenge. As the current winner, you make the challenge, but do not participate. If no one completes your challenge within a week of you posting the challenge, you select another challenge.

No problem, Mike. I'll just need time to update the #1 post with the winner's name and the next challenge, so don't get too far ahead of me. I'm not taking classes this summer, but the fall semester begins in late-August.

I thought about this one all day.
Not all of us are lucky enough to commute to work in our Four Eyes.
So the next challenge is Your Four Eye next to a train. The iron horse.
Any full sized train, commuter, freight, subway (that maybe a hard one), historic steam.
Trolleys maybe too easy, so I leave that up for discussion.
Static displays are ok. I know of several around the country.
    No models or amusement rides.
This will allow all members worldwide to have a crack at this, because we don't have a monopoly on trains.
And please, no Lou Diamond Philips impersonations . That would be covered by rule 8, No Four Eyes will be harmed in the taking of your picture.
And yes I understand I sit in the garage on this one. I may have a train station as close to the house as the lake is.

Dang, I wish my car was drivable. I have the perfect static train just down the road from the house that would make a great picture. Plus, this sounds like a fun game! Good luck to all that can and do participate!

Jeff, if you can push it to the static display and back, go for it.

A slider might be easier, and if pushing was suggested I guess it would be legal.

Ray, rule #8 goes without saying around here, but just for fun, maybe I should add it to the "Official Rules" in case someone isn't sure.

Ok. Here is an easy one given the time of year.

Your car at the fireworks stand.

One catch. You have to have bought something and have it displayed in your picture as well as the fireworks stand, your car, and sign.

My Ghia is not technically "street legal" due to a number of reasons, but I might be able to get this done.

    Current challenge:
Your car at the fireworks stand. Buy something, display it with your car, and your Username at the fireworks stand.

Can someone tell me how to have the picture larger that it is above, please? This photo appears larger in "Edit" mode than it does when I click the "Preview Changes" button.
