PRICE DROP $8750
I never really thought this day would come and honestly, unless the offer is AWESOME, it still may not ever come, but I'm throwing it out there. I HATE feeler ads, so I refuse to call this one, but anyway, on to the add.
1979 Ford Mustang Ghia
Factory 4-speed, 302 V8 car
Original black car, black vinyl top, sun roof
That list of options makes it 1 of 4 according to the marti report.
The 8-track players makes it 1 of 2.
When I got the car it was in pretty "ugly" shape, it had been repainted a maroon color, but other than that it was all original. But original is kinda plain right?
I've had a HUGE photo collection history of the car since I've had it over the past seven years, but done of that is too important right now, but I'll provide it all to any potential new owners.
Here is how the car sits now.
Exterior
Paint is about four years old, very presentable, its a cheaper job, but it shows very well. From ten feet, its really nice, not bad at five either.
Vinyl top is in great shape and original
I recently refinished all the trim
5% window tint all the way around
cobra style hood scoop
Clear headlight covers
black mesh wheels recently restored
BFG tires with less than 600 miles on them
Interior
Corbeau GTS II Seats
New black carpet
Rear seat delete
black interior panels, originals, not dyed(although the car came with tan interior)
Manual windows,
8-track radio plays, but the 8 track doesn't work, I don't think it needs much, I just cant find anyone to work on it
Florida 5.0 glovebox mount gauge pods with stewart warner gauges
Custom fabricated Hurst shifter(t-handle in photos does not come with car)
Engine
Custom painted valve covers
New Power Steering Pump
New AC Compressor, blows cold
Aluminum radiator
HUGE electric fan, runs cool even in Myrtle Beach traffic
Summit aluminum intake
Holley 4-barrel carb
All new hoses, tune up, etc in the past couple of years
Car runs and drives great, it has just over 100,000 miles on it. Puffs a little smoke like you would expect for the miles. Tranny shifts nice. Its no power house, but its a good driver.
I have almost every part I've ever taken off of it, seats, original door panels, original interior rear quarter window panels, 2 barrell carb, intake, breather, cruise control set up, etc.
This is a very nice car, no junk, its my pride and joy, and I don't want to sell it. But with a new baby on the way, you can't hold on to everything. With that being said, I don't have to sell it.
I'm asking $13,500 for the car. I might give a little, but not much.
I would be interested in a partial trade, must be a nice driveable car, or a really interesting project. Thinking something in the 3-5k range? Maybe a little more, little less? T-top cars to the front of the line. I'd also be interested in other fox chassis items, especially four doors and wagons. Other things of interest in the same price range?
