Default Bump steer kit install problems HELP!!!

Well guys I'm outside installing a QA1 bump steer kit in my 83 GT and having some problems as usual with bump steer kits...

    QA1 fox control arms
    QA1 bump steer kit
Flaming River knock off manual rack
    Prothane offset rack bushings
    87+ 5.0 spindles
    No sway bar

Do I need to cut the inner tie rods shorter? On a side note my old 87 GT did the same thing with 2 UPR bump steer kits worth of spacers and that had a reman 93 Cobra rack and stock style suspension w/ Eibach Sportlines, and D&D K member

It's at least 1/2" longer... with internal threads 1/2 as long..

Bump steer installed..threaded all the way in.. (I left about 7/16"-1/2" of threads open on the rod end that it could go in to the nut)

From front of car with rack centered

    2nd post from Corral -

More pics - it's even worse with both sides installed.. threaded all the way in, rack verified centered (3.5 turns lock to lock = 1.75 turns centered)

these are also with the car on the ground..

What application is the rack for? 79-93 or 94-04? If 94-04 then the rack will have longer than needed inners for the wider SN95 track width.
    What spindles?

Sorry I never updated this - I had to cut the inner tie rods 2" on each side to get the QA1 bump steer kit to work. It's close enough to get it to work for a professional alignment happening Monday afternoon

The manual rack is a Flaming River knock off for a 79-93 Mustang, and the spindles are 87+ 5.0 11" pieces

That surprises me. I think somebody sent you the wrong part. No reason you should have had to cut those inners otherwise.

Me too kinda as even with the stock outer tie rods the rack came with barely worked but it only took 30 minutes to cut them and only had to cut them for the bump steer kit to work as all of QA1 bump steer kits are for power steering

Which is funny to me cause power steering racks are just as wide as manual racks (factory or aftermarket) so like in the case of my old 87 GT w/ P/S and (2) yes 2 UPR bump steer kits they still don't work with out cutting the inner tie rods..
