I had a feelin on this cat that it was indeed a freak cat, way to go its the only crimson cat thats not a crimson cat but is a crimson cat.

    Way to go.

Love it when a plan works out.

He signed where I should have so they wont accept it here. I should have caught it but dont buy many vehicles much less from out of state. Had to argue with him and send him a pic that he even did it. Now no replies from him. I have the car title and bill of sale so it wont be going anywhere. Going to see if I can get around him. doubt it so it might be my new mustang lol.

Good luck with the title. I went through an awful title situation (actually the whole purchase was awful) so I know how frustrating and difficult it is to get another person to do what they should have done in the first place. Maybe you should try going to the DMV again and see if a different Teller will accept it as is? If you're really nice (if they catch the mistake) maybe someone their will help you? Just keep pestering the guy in the meantime and hopefully he gets off his a** and applies for the duplicate title.

    Good luck!
    Cheers!

    Good deal!

Whats the thought on this for the subframe connectors? They are open on the ends. Weld a cap on them both ends, one end or leave them open.

Mine are angled at the ends and capped.

I wouldn't leave them open myself, it would look incomplete. Dirt, debris, water, bugs, birds or whatever could get in there also.

Nice car. All the best luck with the remainder!

Ok new problem. Took it out for a 25 mile ride today. after a shut off the the air pump locked up. Wanted to get rid of it eventually. Can I get a short serpentine belt and bypass it. And if I do that will it mess with the converter? In time wanted to go with a off road pipe. But its looking like a money pit. Love it anyway. Went out to some twisties and it was great with all the problems.

ok new problem. Took off the kick panels. Left side had another (5th) dead mouse and a hand full of turds. But also this wire loom is eaten away. The main looks ok and this one looks like a add on like to the rear defrost? All the lights work and have the controls out now so cant try the defrost. Think I did hit it once and my fuses blew but might have been something else going on too.Name: wires.jpg

Rear defrost is a large gauge yellow wire. If I had to repair that, I'd get some new terminals, cut the wiring off clean and re-terminate. You may have to undo the loom a little to get more slack but it shouldn't be too hard of a fix.

I looked at the wiring diagram and they appear to be the rear speaker loom. Forgot all about that.

As for the buck tag not saying CAT, I have seen a few capri's over the years have two tags one weird one like you have and another with the normal CRS or CAT stampings.
If you blink at the end of the straight away you'll miss the twisties and what fun would that be!
