It needs some work for sure, but it has been a great daily driver for almost a year now. Runs strong, starts right up, no smoke or anything. Need to get the A/C working, its got a bit of an oil leak, suspension and exhaust need some attention. But it has been a fun car. They like to make race cars out of these out here, but I would like to keep it as original as I can.
I like the idea of staying original.

I'd love to find a set of 85-86 ssp wheels. They aren't easy to find. The ten holes are fine for now.
Here are some more pics I took tonight. Includes buck tags, door tag, couple other shots.
Front bumper cover is warped a little, not sure if that can be fixed or not. It had the wrong valve covers when I bought it, I'd like to find a set of the correct ones. Missing some A/C hoses. I have a complete A/C system out of a 1991 Mustang I picked up cheap, but I'm not sure if that will work here?

No problem. The last digit on the 4 digit rotations number was totally flattened out due to the fastener. I even removed it to see if it was possible to read, but no luck. I could only make out 066*
Sometimes if you flip the tag over you can read the last number(s) that way.

Nice to see this one turn up again. Are there any numbers written on the firewall to the right of the passenger-side hinge as you look from the front of the car? The WSP would typically write the car number there. If so, can you take a photo?
Bill Jr.
Thank you for the photo. That writing on the firewall confirms it to be WSP Mustang.![]()

Very nice! It's in great shape for an '83!!![]()

Awesome!! I paid just shy of $500 for my 85/86 ssp wheels like 10 years ago, just to find they won't clear the larger 87 brakes i put on the car, so the wheels been sitting for a decade

You saying you have a set of 85-86 wheels sitting around?
Sorry, inbox full, ya I've got a full set of 5 sitting on the side of the house, but my pops swears up and down that we should put the 86 brakes back on and run the wheels

Sorry for the late reply.
It is still my daily driver, still running strong. No real major updates, its going slowly because of money. Fixing little things here and there when I can. Biggest visible change has been trading the 15" ten holes out for some junkyard steel wheels I had restored with some dog dish caps. I will upload some pics soon.
I remember here in colorado some of the ssp's used the black 10 holes. Interested in what steelies you got.
