Default 79 carb turbo oil return help.

I am in the processes of my first turbo rebuild on a 79 cobra 2.3T. The oil return line has a flange that accepts an O-ring (see pic), but I can not find a O-ring to fit. The rebuild kit had a flat gasket for the oil return line. but I'm not sure if that is going to cause problems because the flange was flat against the turbo oil return. any ideas where I could find that O-ring or would that gasket be ok?

Check out a Felpro ES72816 Turbo Mtg. Gasket Set.
Any auto parts store, Summit, can get it.
    I actually used a regular one from a 50pc O-ring assortment kit.
    Bad oil leak without one.

Make sure the t/c is clocked like it was from factory.
Use caution when tightening down the t/c or this may happen:

Hi Terry, this is awesome can you please share the site URL for this parts diagram site? I'm trying to get the specs for the o-rings for the turbocharger to mani and turbo oil drains for a 1980 which should be the same as the 79 you listed here. I think I can see the oil drain seal o-ring is #87203 15/16” ID if I am reading the diagram right but the other is cut off!
    Thanks!
UPDATE! Since these kits are NLA from FelPro ES72816 or Ford# D9ZZ-9G487C, I come up with the following measurements after using your info, some searches and measuring my o-rings:
    1) Compressor housing end to manifold: Ford#87103- 1 3/8” ID, 13/64” width
    2) Manifold inlet to compressor: Ford# 81141-S96 2 ¼” ID , 3/32” width
    3) Oil drain @ manifold: Ford#87203-S96 15/16” ID , 1/16” width

Use an o-ring on that flange. May leak without one. Pulling that turbo 2x is no fun.
It is a regular round o-ring. Stretch to fit. Work it in.
This one is not in the turbo kit not shown in diagram above. The 4th external o-ring.
Did not record the size when i replaced it.
Pretty sure i used one from the Harbor Freight o-ring kit.
    No leaks.

Awesome thanks for that GR. GPop has the center section including the oil return flange I'll have to ask if they did anything with that o-ring. Right I'd prefer to not have to do this again anytime soon!
