    Default power windows and lock wirk without key in ignition in 85 Capri

    Cant figure it out. They work without keys in ignition and after 2 days a perfectly good battery is drained. Please help

    Sounds like a bad ignition switch.

    I agree it could be an ignition switch issue, that is leaving accessory or ignition power on. The power locks
    should work without the ignition on, the windows should not.

    Given the history these cars have with ignition switches separating, you need to inspect yours sooner rather
    than later.
