Wow I miss cruising the PNW and the picnics.
My '84 has been in storage for over a decade now ever since moving to New England.

Hi John, better think about driving it again before gas is outlawed. Pull the plugs and oil the cylinders, disable the ignition and spin the engine for 3 bouts of 15 seconds each to get oil flowing, and fire it up.
Nelson and I have done a couple of drives with a group called "PNW Drives" and boy, do they go FAST on the runs, way past safe limits. At least we got to count the cows in the fields. We do miss all the people in the field, but it was a lot of work. Keep the car on the road at least.

    Hi Neil,
Winter here in The Berkshires might finally be ending. At least the snow is gone. Once it gets a little warmer, I need to finish the rear on my S10 to get it out of the garage. After that, we are planning to bring the '84 and the 2017 convertible home.

Hey Neil, I finished up the 2003 S10 and took it to the auction to sell it. It wound up selling for $5750, so I was quite surprised. Anyway, I got the '84 out of storage after fighting with it to start after sitting for so long. Had a good late summer and early fall with it before I had to put it back before the snow started again.

Hi John, good to hear you got the car on the road for a while, just don't let it sit for so long this time. I got TRX repops and will be putting new tires on this summer.

Hey Neil, did you get the TRX wheels that can mount a normal tire size?

Yes I did john, but no tires yet. I will get that done this spring and drive the Capri more. The current TRX tires were bought in 1998, and the bar code sticker on the sidewall of the tire that you don't see is still on the tires.

Wow, think about how old you were when you bought them!
I see the new TRX wheels look like they mount the P225/55R16 tires.
