pushrod length need help

So im building a 5.0 roller motor for my 84 capri and put in a trick flow stage 1 with flo tek heads. I used a comp cam pushrod length checker and i came up with 6.150. the wear pattern is in the center with that measurement but its shorter than the stock 6.272 length. Wondering if that sounds right to have shorter length than stock or if its bad. It has comp cams 1.6 stud mount roller rockers and ford racing oem lifters.

You could use adjustable pushrods.

Thats what i used the adjustable comp cams checker. But just seemed odd to me that it came up shorter than stock with new heads and cam
