    Default 5.0 head type..help

    I was told the 5.0 was out of a 93 but I have my suspicions it's not Name:  WP_20140423_08_28_52_Smart.jpg

    only way to tell is under the valve cover
    current cars:

    my e7's have a T on one end of the head above the exhaust port, more than likely they are e7's, they came on 87-95 mustangs and trucks too I guess since they were truck(e7Te) heads.

    I'm not sure pulling a valve cover will help, all i can find is a casting date, E7TE IS cast underneath the intake port but you'd need a mirror to see it or pull the head

    The pics you've posted are not any help in ID'ing the heads. As FM2NOTCH has posted, there should be a letter on one of the other outside corners of the heads (you posted a number, so that's the wrong corner). Only useful code under the valve cover is the date the head was cast. As FM2NOTCH has posted, the engineering numbers is on the block side of the head.
