Default Out of the garage finaly.

Here are some pics of my 86 Convertible.
Finally we had a good weekend I was not working so the Mustang came out and the wife's Saturn goes in for an oil change, serpentine belt change and find the oil leak. The next time the 86 comes out it's to change the main seal on the Saturn. Name: IMG_0248.JPG

That's a nice dash appliqué. Is it custom? It looks too nice to be original

That's a solid burl wood piece by Madrea Concepts. I did that in 1990 after seeing an article on it and a set for the 87 Foxes.
The part over the glove box is wood as well. The fuzzy mice were made by my wife last year. I can't do normal.

Ha! I didn't even see the mice Initially I believed the appliqués were off a Capri since they are slightly different than the ones on the Mustang. One of my Mustangs is a T-top coupe 'L' model, with the standard woodgrain. I should look into getting some like this (if I can find them!)

Thanks The project this year is to get the time to replace the canvas on the roof.
I've had the roof for about 15 years but I never got the time to do the work. I started driving it again 3 years ago.
We check the weather real good before heading out.
