Default Newest addition to the family

Picked up an '85 Capri RS 5spd... I paid for her on my way out of town and the wife brought her home yesterday. I won't make it home for a few more days but I can't wait to get to know her.

Congratulations! With your wife getting the first ride in it, maybe she has bonded and claimed it first!

No kidding, I would be chomping at the bit! Kind of like waiting for spring to actually arrive right now for me!

Congrats on the purchase. Great looking Capri. It looks to be in great shape. Love the bulge on the hood.

Yeah I will be home I believe on the 22nd. There will be MANY pics. The condition is amazing for its age. I bought my first capri before I knew much about the mechanics of the different years and was a little bummed to find I had a non roller. Then even more bummed when I started finding all the damaged areas. (bent radiator support, ripped off sway bar mounts, massive holes cut into hood, rust, silicone all over hatch, cheap paint job etc...) so when I found this one I was delighted to find nothing of the sort. I must give credit to my first capri though as she has been a daily driver since 2007 when I bought her and never let me down.

Thanks I could not figure out how to get it bigger as I am posting with my phone and not everything works right. But it does get bigger when you click it I think.
