    Default dust shields

    needing help on something guys doing a 94 5 lug swap on a 84 needing to know if the dust shields will work from 04 model to the 94 spindles

    Tony, I did this last year except they were '03 shields. http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthre...=1#post1573283

    The Mach 1 brakes I bought came with the '03 spindles, calipers, shields and flexlines. I only used the calipers and shields as I used the '94 spindles and MM hoses for the fox upgrade. Hope this helps.

    so the 03 model fit the 94

    Yep, I drilled off the rivets from the 03 spindles and bolted them to the 94's.

    thanks man that is what I needed to know ford said 94 models are unavailable but they can get the 04 models and I was hoping they were the same

    I got my '94 spindles shipped from a couple of hours away through car-part.com network and got the '03 Mach 1 front brake/spindle set-up; blasted and cleaned through MPS auto salvage down there in Georgia and they had put the new shields on them too. Lucky me sold the other spindles off Kijiji for $150!

    Funny Ford couldn't comment on the interchangeability.

    I do believe the shields are specific to the brake rotor diameter, 13" Cobra/Mach 1 or 12" V6/GT, but other than that the 94-04 should interchange.
