Default Another oxford white vert in the garage

Just last weekend I sold my 85 vert to a member on this site. I was working a deal on a 63 falcon, only to find out the guy sold it after I told him I was selling my car to buy his. Screwed up my plan totally. There was this 86 vert I saw last year on Craigslist but it was priced way high. I had gone back and forth with the seller a few times and he had just texted me a couple weeks ago he bought something else and was ready to move this one. I looked at it Monday and picked it up Thursday night.

    Some pics-

It came with the original luggage rack trunk lid. This one is off an 85. Original paint, has some flaws but overall very nice. 5 lug rear disc, subframe connectors, and strut tower brace. Supposedly has a tremec 3550 and 3.55 gears. Its tight and clean inside and underneath. Always been a Georgia car. Has the original warranty card. An emissions test from 2003 shows it has been driven only 5000 miles since 2003. The top is new from king concepts. AC converted to r134 and works great.

Very nice, congrats on the purchase!

I was getting ready to post a question about something on the 85-86 verts but one of your photos clarified it. Don't want to hijack thread so I will leave it at that.

    Great looking fox!

It has 136k on it but you could not tell by looking at it. Few little thing so far is the interior lights dont work with the drivers door. The fog lights don't work. I hear a relay clicking under the dash when I flick the switch.

It was on the cover of mustangs unlimited catalog at some point. It came with a copy but I have not looked at the date on it.
