Default 1979 Pace Car MYSTERY wire

Can anyone help me determine where this wire goes on my pace car? I've done some cleanup work over the winter and can't remember where this one was connected. It appears to be a ground wire and is black with white stripe coming from the wiring harness on the passenger's side. Judging by the length and size, it appears like it should go under a starter solenoid mounting bolt or possibly a mounting bolt for the regulator. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

power windows? tape it up and let it hang is what some suggested, it's used to power certain things like locks, windows, mirrors, seats, ect. if you have any of those and it doesn't work you know where to look.

No power windows either.....sounds like the wire was never used for my car so I'll be taping up the end. Thanks for your help.

A lot of these early foxes were 'max wired', even the SN95 cars were in a lot of cases i.e. there was wires and connectors that possibly went nowhere depending on what options were installed from the factory. It's entirely possible the mystery wire in question goes nowhere.
