That is a sweet ride! Thanks for posting the article. I thought it was interesting that they mentioned the owner driving the car primarily on its torque, and how that can contribute to the car's long-term reliability. I haven't had a chance to get my current Stang (an ''86 LX 5.0) to a track, but I've run an '00 Roush Stage 2 at CA Speedway and Buttonwillow. I had to rev the crap out of that car, because it didn't have a lot of down-low torque. My '86 isn't a horsepower monster, putting only a little over 200 HP to the wheels, but it has a decent torque curve (max 275 lb-ft) and I plan on incorporating that into my driving style when I get it on track.
