Default Recaros back in after all these year

When I bought my car in the early 90, it had factory Recaros, but they were rough. Restoration wasn't an option at the time because of finances so I tossed them. I had no idea the regret this would cause me!!!! Anyway, after all these years, Recaro seats have made in back into the car. Not originals but much more comfortable!! Sorry, phone pictures, but you get the idea.

I needed to make brackets as these seats have a wider bracket than the 1980. I'm quite happy with them!!

Very nice. What made you decide on the red stitching?

I got a screaming deal, red stitch wasn't my first choice. I'm going to live with it for a while and see how I feel then. I can use fabric dye and black out the red stitch if I need to. A tedious project for next winter if need be. There is other red in the car, plus I can eliminate some grey if needed.

Very sweet! Just my $0.02, I think the red stitching looks good.

I'm not sure about the red stitch yet but I really like the seats.

I think they look great, and I like the red stitching. Now you need to have the steering wheel leather wrapped in black w/ red stitching to match.
    Cheers!

I have previously tried to get that steering wheel leather wrapped differently but I can't find anyone. The more I drive the car, the more I love the seats!!
