My 83 GT Build thread!

Figured I would post the reserection of my new 83 GT. I got this car to put in primer and flip quick, but last night decided it was too nice and straight to just leave in primer. So I'm gonna go ahead and do a quick resto on it then flip it. Figured I would share it progress!

Plan is to have it ready for paint next weekend! It is getting painted a brighter metallic burgandy. Should look great! Going to black out the hood and put the 5.0 and all the GT decals back on. Gotta find a scoop!

Hood flew up and damaged the cowl and roof. Got 95% of the damage out and skim coated it to get it perfect!

Than again if I didn't screw up the door the car would probably been parted and scraped by another guy. So we are saving another 4 eyed car.

WOW I can't believe it's been over two years since I started this Project LOL! Life got in the way and the car went on the back burner along with all the other projects! Also for some reason my IP was banned from the site for a year. I tried to get it corrected but had to wait for my IP to change. Well I guess it's time for an update. The car is done. Originally I was going to repaint and do a few thing to this car and sell it, but since my son is 15 he decided he wanted the car so I finished and built it for him! Car turned out REALLY good and I'm VERY happy with it! I built it as a driver so it's not perfect but I don't have a fortune in it. Anyway here are the pics:
