Well, I haven't touched the Lightning since Monday and it won't be ready for Sunday with everything that is going on this week. Be there in the notch for sure though. Can't wait for this and really need a cruise especially with the good forecast for Sunday.

Pete, I'm excited for your car this year. You persevered through a lot of stuff last year with the car, and it really paid off. I still can't believe it's making pretty much the same power my old 2V mod motor was making with 12 psi, cams, and methanol! And yours is all motor- nice work.

I just checked the weather for tomorrow in both locations, my home and for Manchester Connecticut. The forecast calls for a passing shower around 7:00 am for this area so I'm guessing it may be raining a little bit by the time we get to Bellingham. For Manchester, Connecticut the forecast is calling for a passing shower at 8:00 so we may be lucky enough to miss that one unless we have to drive through it. I'm still planning on going and will be out in the garage cleaning my Cobra today. I will call them when we get to Bellingham just to make sure the show is on or not. Their number is: 1-888-398-9898.

We should be fine. In years past, it was drizzling/light rain on the way there, yet it always cleared up and was amazing weather in CT. Not that this analysis is the least bit provable by scientific fact, but I think we'll be alright!

EDIT: I just checked the hourly forecast on TWC. They are calling for a 40% chance of showers in SE MA around the time the cruise departs Friendly's at 6:00 AM, and by the time we arrive at MU, they are only showing a 10% chance of showers, and the odds of rain quickly diminish after about 9 AM. The chance of showers seem to be predominantly focused on SE MA mostly, and not points west.

So I'd say it is looking good still. Hopefully.

Dave, watch out for rogue deer this year on 495, lol.

Have fun guys. I may make it down to one of their other shows later in the summer that they allow Capri's into. This is always the good one though. As for me i'll be hanging out with a bunch of cake and ice cream fueled 7 year old girls about the time they'll be handing out awards. Wish me luck.
