    Trying to see if I can find a picture of it somewhere in my stuff. I've seen similar trailers behind motorcycles.

    1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.

    It bolts to a bar that bolted to the shocks for the bumper.

    wonder if its possible to make the hitch able to flip out and in, out when need to tow something, and in for hiding ...

    Progress. Still have to mount the receiver. Then weld it all up. Still deciding on either bolts or pins where it detaches.

    power coat or spray paint that rust bar black or blue would match up the beautiful car.

    Done with all the basic fab, just need to clean up some areas and finish up the final welding. I made it so the back half of hue hitch slides into a pin then pushes up to a stop, the the bolts can be installed. I did that mainly for ease of install, so I could put it on myself without someone holding the other side up.

    Freaking ingenious...what are you using to cut your plate steel?

    Most of the big cuts were just with a sazall with a metal blade from home depot. Had my doubts. But the blade is for up to 1\2 thick steel, worked real well. Smaller cuts were either a jig saw or cutting wheel. Most it is 1\4 steel, this thing is probably way over built.
