    Default Transmission rebuild suggestions?

So i'm looking at rebuilding my t-5 transmission to replace the syncros (considering they're in need of it) and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on which rebuild kit to get and if there are any sticky situations I should be warned about before starting on the build?

I used Astro Performance. Loved the service and the parts. Not sure about a kit under 200 though? Www.astroperformance.com

I also used Astro Performance for my rebuild kit. Tony has always been very helpful & very nice. You will need access to a press or some way to remove bearings when doing the rebuild.

Check The Gearbox, Anahiem Gear and Hanlon Motorsport also. 200 might be a little light of a price though.

There are a few special tools required. A rebuild DVD from Hanlon motor sports is more helpful than you can imagine. I suggest you invest in the DVD and watch it before attempting the rebuild to see if it is within your capabilities.

You probably will not find a rebuild kit <$200 unless it deletes parts found in other kits. The synchronizes are the most expensive parts of the kit. I recommend the FRPP kit as it just has everything you could need.
