      Just a quick note to say hello...

      1986 5.0 LX hatch, black, no air,stick shift, bought new by me in 1986.

      That makes both of us old and grumpy.

      I'm in the process of partially restoring parts of the car which had been modified
      in the late 90's.

      Well TLC does a car wonders....

      Good luck with your car. I chose to add to my modifications on my '82 recently when I finally got it going again this year. I had originally done some modest stuff in the '90s too. It wasn't worth the effort to go back in my case and I'm glad I didn't try!

      Thanks for the welcome guys. I'll get some pics together and find out where to
      post them?

      The car isn't perfect and it's seen some snow but it still makes me giggle and act stupid whenever I drive it....

      I do have some questions about the VIN number, I guess I'll have to check out the section for that. I ordered
      it in mid June of '86 so it's got to be a fairly late build. The sequence number is higher than the total number of units
      built in 1986.
