    SMS Auto Fabrics...

    www.smsautofabrics.com

...usually has a pretty good selection of oem seat material. You can contact them and they will send you free samples. You would have to find someone to stitch up the seat cover, but any good upholstery shop can do that.
If they take my stapler, then I'll set the building on fire...

SMS are very helpful and have sent several OEM material samples to me, including the 84 canyon red sport seat material that you seek. I called back to ask them some questions and they were able to lookup exactly which samples they sent to me ... very organized! The stuff isn't cheap, but I think it's worth it compared to the horrible red stuff you get with TMI covers (sorry, don't mean to offend anyone).

Do you have an estimate of how many yards of material each you will need to do your drivers seat?

How close are the samples to your current material?

    Hello,
I went through this couple years ago....I have Canyon red sport seat and used SMS's material ( 1yard) for the inside portion of drivers seat.

I only needed the drivers seat. The material samples were not enough to judge material or color match so I took the gamble and bought the yard. I compared the bigger piece to my passenger seat....
The material was not an exact match. The ribbing 'depth' (for lack of a better word) was not the same. Also the color was deeper, expected considering there is some fading in the passenger seat.

I spoke with the gent that was going to do the upholstery job and he suggested a little bleach to fade the fabric. I did so using my bathtub....it took sometime and care but I got the color match to my liking.
However the 'ribbing' difference was still an issue for me and I could do nothing about this...
Once again my upholstery gent said I would not notice once it was installed. He mentioned your eye would overlook it since the seats are not right next to each other. He was correct it turned out fine.

Also there is enough material in 1 yard to do both front seats..
