    Default Hello from AK

Hello from North Pole, AK. I've been reading/searching this sight for months and am loving the information. I have three fox body Capri's, and am building my 79 with parts from the other two. The 79 was originaly a four cylindar, have a built 351w to take its place. Also have an 84 and a 86, both with the 3.8 v6, 84 runnes, well, sort of.

Has the buble hatch from the 84, and the mustang tail light conversion, I know I know, but its what I have, if I was rich I would build the notch, but mine is pretty beat up and its what I have, think it will look pretty tough with the front air damb and factory scoop, resingned to the fact I'm probably gonna have to cut a hole in the hood to get a propper air cleaner in this 351, even with the drop mounts, electrical on this ride is a nightmare, some prick cut the relay out without disonecting anything first, and the electrical regulater has wiring issews also, was realy happy to see that rpm selector swich for the 4, 6, or 8 cylinder, small mericals, I love this car

The engine has been rebuilt with new berings, rings, Extreem Energy cam and the fox oil pan conversion, porting out the heads this winter with the boy, who I'm sure will be the death of this car, iether way it will be hella fun, and going with the performer rpm and shorty 3/4 headers, suspenssion comes next summer, 8.8 rear, subframe conecters and the biggest sway bars I can find, this car won't do wheelies cause of all the wieght in the front end, no matter how much I would like it to! but if it is reliable on the road and handles well enough to run the 10miles down the hwy to work an back, and is safe enough for the boy to run circles around the local competition, then I'll be hella pleased, my first car was a Capri, always regreted blowing it up, at theast getting rid of it after anyway, thanks guys for the information, this sight rules!
