That is a rubber cover for the lower rear shock bolt. It goes on the exposed threaded part of the bolt.

    Default 2023 Random Updates

I didn't get the car out until June this past year. The short driving season here directly impact the amount of time to work on or drive the car!

The previous year, we did not put the Option K wheels on at all so decided to this year and do an oil change.

I went to the same Canada parade in an adjacent neighborhood to mine that I have done the last couple of years already.

    Default 2023 Random Updates

Jackson and I managed to get the two running cars out to the local Mustang Club's annual show in late June. This was the only one we went to last year.

This year the IMM (International Mustang Meet) is in Calgary so we should definitely be there Labor Day weekend!

Default 2023 Upgrades and work done

I didn't really need to do anything with the car being reliable and running well. I do have some things on the to-do list but 2023 or 2024 aren't going to be the year to do (oil pan gasket, rear end recondition).

I really only did two things.

    1. I decided to put the NOS rear floor mats in. What's the point in letting them just sit in the box. Not like the back seat is ever really used. I haven't looked too hard but would love to find a nicer front set for the car. Carpet or rubber.

    2. The 2011 dated Motorcraft battery I had gave out. You cannot get a Motorcraft battery from the dealer or any parts stores locally that the US seems to have options for. Also I don't think you can import a battery via online purchase either due to the "dangerous goods" aspect. When I looked at the local parts store online I saw an Interstate battery that looked correct. Group 56 and the same as the Motorcraft visually.

I bought it and wondered if I'd need to get decals recreated to be "correct"

They were all good vinyl and came off almost perfectly and transferred over. You can't even tell Nice that some things work out easily.
