Hi-
I am interested in trading my fox body mustang for a '79-'86 V8 or SVO with a manual transmission. I'm not afraid of a drivable project.
My mustang is a '91 LX 5.0 convertible with 112k miles. It was originally an automatic but I converted it to a manual this summer. At that time I had the T5 rebuilt (I have the paper work). I also installed a new King Cobra clutch, flywheel, clutch fork, clutch cable, and clutch cable cover. The car is wild strawberry metallic. The convertible is white and has a glass back window. The interior is scarlet red. The car is quick and a lot of fun to drive. I am located in Kansas City, MO.
Here are the modifications that I've made:
- 3.73 gears
- Explorer intake manifold
- VRS X-pipe
- Flowmaster catback
- Underdrive pullies
- K&N air filter (~500 miles on it)
- C&L 73mm MAF sensor
- 24lb injectors
- FRPP wires and distributor cap
- Pro 5.0 shifter
- 130 amp 3G alternator
- Maximum Motorsports Subframes
- New floor mats, head light lenses, door handles
The top, windows, lumbar support, heat, cruise control and ash tray door all work. The A/C does need to be recharged however. The rear tires have around 2000 miles on them. There is a small tear starting to emerge on the side bolster of the drivers seat. The oil, thermostat and PCV system have all been recently replaced as well. The speedometer cable and gear have been replaced within the past 1000 miles. The speedometer is dead on.
Thanks
