Default Info. On this hatch insert.

Hey everyone. I just joined the site and am wondering if any of you guys can shed some light on this insert i got on my dads 85 GT it was not installed from the factory, he installed it himself some 17 years ago. Were these produced by multiple brands? And do any of you guys have one installed on your ride?

any info on it is appreciated. Just something i have never seen on any other fox.

    some pics of it!

yea. it totally deletes the area the hatch glass provides. It comes down to just above the rear seats. Wasn't really a concern because you have the hatch privacy cover there anyway. BTW that back window is removable, it is pretty awesome driving around with it out.

omg that is absolutely crazy. I thought i saw every mod you could ever see on these cars. I was wrong. It is really neat, not sure if i like it yet as it does look really bizarre.
the 1990 cobra tail lights and giant mustang logo have GOT to go though, lol (just my opinion)

How about a pic of the back seat with it closed? I like the idea of it and the idea of it being rare but don't know if i like the looks trying though.

That is truly wild ---- in a really good way. Super cool.

I like it a lot ---- but what would you call it? A hatch/notch?

He paid $600 just for the insert, then he had to get it painted.

You stole my thoughts FloridaGrabber. That would probably be pretty cool with all the glass out.

It reminds me of the back window on a 73 coupe. Not necessarily a good thing.
