Default looking for a shop in Los Angeles

I am looking for a shop to have some subframe connectors installed. GALPIN wants $350 for labor only. Does anyone know of a shop that isn't insanepy overpriced? Last time I had SFCs installed it only cost $100.

are you talking about the long ones that are welded on? take them to a muffler shop, and for about $100.00 or less

The only ones to go with are weld on. Bolt ons just don't cut it. I would go to a muffler shop but the floorpan is cracked.

So... the last time you had it done, was the floor pan cracked then too? If Galpin was taking
that into account in their estimate, perhaps they're not quite so insanely overpriced after all.

They weren't. They said its $350 for subframe connectors and at least another $350 to weld in the reinforcement plates to fix the cracks

The owner of Marlo's is a big Ford guy and part of the Mustang Owners Club of California. They did some work for me a few years back, and were very reasonably priced.

He said it was an 8 hour job due to the interior needing to be removed. Found a place in Canoga Park that GTR HiPo helped me find.

Good Lord, 8 hours?!? Must be somebody else running that place now. When I brought my car to them, they were very honest and very reasonable with their prices.

Anyway, good luck with the repair. Post some pics afterwards if you can.
