Default Labor Day @ Gordie Boucher Janesville WI

There is a pretty decent car show here in Janesville on Labor Day. There were a few of us FEPers there. Me, 86capriASC, gtpony, 86gt2r and fmgl were all there. The weather wasn't perfect, it kept threatening rain, but never poured on us. Anyway, here are some pics for ya.

    Mike's 86 McLaren

    Andy's low milage 86 GT

Daryl's low milage, modified 86 GT. He won a trophy in our class

Sorry about the bad pic of Daryl's car here......

My GT350 Turbo vert's cleaned up 4 banger

Our class. That's a nice modified 86 SVO next to my ride. He's not a member here though.

The aero on the end was another trophy winner. It was carb'd

fmgl went 4-eye-less and brought his new to him 92 feature car. Nice ride Danny!!

This was a cool car. 88 GT with a Cobra engine and IRS.

Here's some other cars that I thought were cool.
1929 Model A racer. I guess they started with a Model A chassis and built the rest. I thought it was neat anyway.

    Flathead 4-cyl

I think this was a 39 Lincoln. It was REALLY nice.

    Flathead V-12

These 2 were owned by the same guy

An unrestored Hurst/SC Rambler. I love this car.

    Cool hood

    400 4-spd 79 T/A. Original owner car. It had around 50k miles.

A nice 58 Biscane built right here in Janesville

A cool modified 66 T-bird. It has a Lincoln 460. For some reason the owner moved the firewall aft 2 inches.

    94 Cobra. I can't remember the milage, but it wasn't a lot.

I'm a fan of SN-95s and this was one of the cleanest I'd seen in a while. 11k miles. Original owner.

I was hoping you would post these up. My lens must have had a smudge on it, all my pics are blurry.

Nice shots Jack!! So what is the deal with ASC clear headlight covers? Some have them, some don't. Were they a factory piece or aftermarket?

All coupes had them. Mine are all cracked and spider webbed so I don't use them. Too expensive for me to replace right now too.

Great Pics Jack!!!! Thanks for sharing, looks like a great show and some really clean low mileage cars. The saddle interior on that SN95 looks fantastic and I am in love with the 88 that has the mod motor and IRS. Wish it had T-Tops

    Thanks Stan!

The show was a little slow starting today. I think most people were afraid of the rain threat. We were there around 8:30 but it didn't really start to fill up until noon. Not a bad turn out though.

Awww ... man ... a two-door Fleetwood Coupe with lace wheels.

I always keep an eye open for one of these ---- 'cause it would look so cool parked next to my (four-door) sedan. I'm going to be really picky about getting one, but someday.

Yeah, I sound like a doofus ---- but then I look so out of place driving an '89 Fleetwood. For the most part, there are two types of people that drive them ---- and I'm not either type.

Thanks for sharing the pic ---- and all the good pics!!! I luvs me a car show.

All of the 4-eyes look excellent as usual, Jack. Thanks for sharing the photo's. As for the '88 with the transplant, I love that!! I'd love to try that exact drivetrain swap someday, I'm sure it drives soooo smooth!!
