Mike:
I might be able to make it. Work schedule may have some flexibility
Will know for certain by this Monday the 12th
I am going to assume that the existing Class Structure for "Fox" Mustangs is unchanged ?
Any idea what Class my 1988 TC would be in ?

Thanks for the update.
A 1979-1986 Division with 1 Class each for Stock & Modified would be a great starting point for Future MSCLI Events.
I feel that the club would see an increase in participation by Fox Body Mustang owners once the word was out that they have classes in which to enter their particular vehicles.
Additionally the Establishing of a similar Division 1987-1993 also with Stock and Modified Classes would be equally productive.
Stock and Modified classes certainly work for the 1964 thru 2013 Mustangs
That said I firmly believe that there should be a separate class at MSCLI event for Fox based Capri's as they are a significant and growing part of the Fox Mustang Generation's restoration, restomod, racing ( Drag and Vintage) and Hot Rod segment. As can be seen right here on the FEP Forums.
Ed P would have a greater knowledgebase as to model specifics since he is a Capri owner.
Just my two cents worth.

Mike, really appreciate the strides forward, so thanks to all of you. I do think a 79-86 separated from the aero models would be both a benefit and a draw.
As much as I'd love to see a fox capri class, not going to happen in my opinion. Just not enough and it'd be silly for just the 1-2 that do show up always be the trophy winners etc. I realize no classification system will be perfect, there will always be people left out or singled out. It's very difficult especially when dealing with such a finite number of potential members with a wide and vast variety of cars built on the same platform. We see the same challenges even at Carlisle and that is a national scale.
What has to change is the grouping of svt's, mach 1's boss's and bullitts together. I hate that my 93 Cobra is in the class as a brand new Mustang Boss. How do you compete with that. They break up the Shelby GT class down to every 3 years or so. Great shows none the less. Went to smithtown and Levittown and had a great time at both.
This is always a great show but some clubs show up and stuff the ballot box with votes for their buddies. Personally, I think that MSCLI needs to get a handle on this, or switch to judging to make this show more appealing.
